Op zondag 18 oktober 2015 worden op Circuitpark Zandvoort de finaleraces van de ANAC carwash Westfieldcup verreden. De afsluiting van een seizoen waarover we als rijders erg tevreden kunnen zijn. De gezelligheid onderling en de competie op de baan was weer om in te lijsten. Dit seizoen begon roerig met een aantal schades tijdens de eerste races, als beloning mochten we van de wedstrijdleiding niet meer met een reverse-grid starten. Het heeft gewerkt, tijdens de rest van het seizoen hebben we ons als voorbeeldige DNRT-leden gedragen. Willem Vriend gaat aan de leiding in het klassement en het kampioenschap kan hem eigenlijk niet meer ontgaan. Maar wat te zeggen van onze Westfield debutant Jarno Iprenburg, die veel van de races waaraan hij deelnam wist te winnen. Van uitzonderlijke klasse, hopelijk doet hij volgend seizoen weer mee. Op dit moment vult hij de 2e plaats in het klassement op de voet gevolgd door het duo Hayley Lazell en Hans Wellink. Kunnen zij hun 2e plek nog terug veroveren op ons afsluitende evenement?
En wat te zeggen van de plaatsen 4 tot en met 7, Jan Frensch, John Hoogland, Patrick Boxem en Rainer von Klier kunnen allemaal nog de 4e plaats opeisen.
