Het seizoen 2015 werd op een gezellige wijze afgesloten bij onze hoofdsponsor ANAC carwash / karting in Nijmegen. Uiteraard werd er gekart en genoten van een heerlijk Aziatisch buffet. Er werd stil gestaan bij alle bijzonderheden van het mooie seizoen 2015. Spreekstalmeester Eric Houtman deed het verbale verslag en zette alle winnaars en vrijwilligers in het zonnetje.
Willem Vriend, Jarno Iprenburg en Hans Wellink mochten de bekers voor de eerste 3 plaatsen in ontvangst nemen.
Daarnaast was er aandacht voor Rooky of the Year Sybren Deuninck, Gentleman-racer Lex Peters (!) , pechvogel Rudy Standaert, kip zonder kop winnaar John Hoogland en kilometervreter Rainer von Klier.
De dames van de catering Monica en haar dochter Gemaine, onze hoffotografe Marianne De Smet, PR-man Gerrit Veenema, cupverslaggever en puntenteller Ivan Kok en natuurlijk Eric Houtman en Willem Berendse als bestuur van onze vereniging werden in het zonnetje gezet voor alles wat ze voor ons gedaan hebben. Uiteraard ook dank voor de DNRT, de wedstrijdleiding, de OCA’s en aan iedereen die bijgedragen heeft aan onze cup.
Het zit er weer op. Seizoen 2015 gaat de boeken in als een leuk en gezellig seizoen. De voorbereidingen voor 2016 zijn alweer gestart. Er rest ons een lange, koude, stille en raceloze Westfield-winterslaap, MAAR in april 2016 gaan we weer van start. Zorg dat je er bij bent. Het belooft een nog mooier seizoen te worden waarin we nog meer uit gaan pakken op 1 of 2 mooie buitenlandse circuits. Tot 2016 !!!!
