Het was weer cup racen in optima forma, met in elke ronde een overvloedig aantal positiewisselingen door het gehele veld en gedurfde inhaalacties. Uiteindelijk waren het zeven man die in de tweede race om de winst streden: Willem Vriend, Andrew Vosselman, Hans Wellink, Lex Peters, Daniël Sandifort, Jan Stakenburg en Arjen Heeck.
